On Miami Valley StoryCorps we bring you conversations between local people who went to the StoryCorps booth in Dayton last spring. Today we hear Dr. Robert C. Walker interview his friend and mentor, John E. Moore. Mr. Moore has been a civil rights and community leader for well over a half century, taking on leadership roles with The Dayton Foundation and The African-American Community Fund, and helping to create endowments and scholarships that have served thousands throughout the region.
